Tianjin N-butane MA Engineering Centre is staffed by experienced R&D teams and now has 37 R&D engineers, including 10 professorate senior engineers, 23 senior engineers and 4 engineers. Five research groups have been set up for the study in reactor capacity, solvent absorption/recovery, MA derivatives development & application, MA wastewater treatment and pilot & industrialization.
Wang Shumei, professor of engineering, deputy general manager of Tianjin Bohua Engineering Co., LTD., member of Technical Committee of Tianjin N-butane Maleic Anhydride Engineering Center, member of China Engineering and Consulting Association, member of Tianjin Emergency Management Standardization Technical Committee, won the title of "Professional Technical Leader" of Tianjin Bohai Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. in 2018. She is responsible for company's scientific and technological innovation, technological progress, informationization & etc ., is in charge of the overall management of the research and development work of Maleic Anhydride technology, Won the national chemical industry excellent engineering design awards for many times, presided and completed several technical development projects, such as "PVC paste resin engineering technology development", published a number of papers in chemical field, obtained 10 patents.
Hu Xiaoying, Senior engineer, Vice Director of Process Engineering Department of Tianjin Bohua Engineering Co., LTD., Director of Tianjin N-butane Maleic Anhydride Engineering Center. He has been engaged in the development of maleic anhydride production process and engineering application research for a long time, and served as the project manager of maleic anhydride project of Tianjin Bohua Engineering Co., LTD. He has been involved in the design of a number of maleic anhydride plants, the total capacity of which exceeded 600,000 tons/year. He has published many papers in the field of chemical engineering and obtained 8 national patents.
